Jim and Angela Thompson Foundation

The Jim and Angela Thompson Foundation was established in 2009 by Angela and James Thompson with the intent of supporting 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations in areas such as children and family services, aviation, education, free speech and animal care. The foundation seeks to assist smaller, low-profile organizations, as these groups typically have the ability to implement more creative outreach initiatives. These also are charities which do not already receive contributions from larger philanthropic foundations. The philosophy of the Jim and Angela Thompson Foundation supports the notion that contributions make a direct and immediate impact in the lives of those they support.
The Jim and Angela Thompson Foundation currently supports charities in the areas of children and family services, education, aviation and animal services. These organizations include, Baylor Foundation, Communities Against Violence, Dallas CASA, Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, March of Dimes, Muscular Dystrophy Association, North Texas Food Bank, Phoenix House, The Smile Train, The Wilkinson Center, the Dallas Rotary Club Dream Team Mentoring and Scholarship Program, the Japanese Language Advancement School of Dallas, the Renaissance Youth Center, the Grace Flight of America, the SPCA of Texas and the Texas ESP Rescue.
